THE 77 SAM FOUNDATION
Enabling students to be physically defended, digitally shielded, and mentally fortified - in an increasingly dark world.
OUR MISSION
Advance child well-being in educational settings through programs, resources, advocacy, and partnerships that strengthen physical safety, digital safeguards, and emotional support.
OUR VISION
We envision a future where every child can learn, grow, and succeed free from preventable harm, and where every school is equipped to protect students' physical safety, digital wellbeing, and emotional health.
Our Philosophy
- DETER: Establishing visible, credible safeguards that discourage threats before they materialize — making schools and students a harder, less attractive target.
- DETECT: Enabling early-warning systems and trained awareness so warning signs are recognized and reported quickly, before harm occurs.
- DENY: Removing access and opportunity for harm — installing physical, digital, and social barriers that prevent a threat from reaching students.
- DEFEND: Equipping students, staff, and communities with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to respond effectively, if all else fails
